Hi, we are John and Teresa.
We are a totally Wairarapa-based business enjoying a wonderful experience with our bees and our landowners. All our honey is raw and natural just how the bees (and we) like it. John is very passionate about the bees and has immersed himself in learning as much as possible to keep the bees healthy we consider them part of our family as much as our beekeeping dog Honey.
We pride ourselves with putting quality over quantity and in conjunction with our landowners, who we are now very pleased to call our friends, we work with them to provide the best environment for the bees, never overstocking any of our sites is a must for us as the bee health and well-being is an important factor – happy healthy bees create the great tasting honey.
We produce a variety of different honey from all around the Wairarapa region.
Our honey is managed from hive to glass jar exclusively by us with minimal filtration and no heating. 100% raw natural honey retaining all the natural properties (proteins, enzymes minerals).
We give the bees the best chance of gathering quality nectar by managing the correct amount of hives for the property.
